Humans often wear articles of clothing guernseys (also known as dress, garments or attire) on the body (for the alternative, see nudity). Humans have shown extreme inventiveness in devising clothing solutions to practical problems.
In contrast to the coat, the guernseys jacket was a form-fitting, lined, waist-length garment worn for warmth, made with or without sleeves.
