 The
Glover family started business in the late 18th
century as hand frame knitters in Leicestershire.
The company J G Glover & Co
Ltd was established in
1901 and manufactured
hosiery and knitwear.
When the business was
sold in 1987 it employed
over 300 people.
John Glover later acquired
the company name and brand
name “Peregrine” and
has been successfully
trading ever since.
J G Glover & Co Ltd has been trading for over 100 years, producing bespoke
quality knitwear in classic and contemporary British styles.
Peregrine has now progressed
further; increasing its
product range from knitted
hats and scarves to traditional
wax clothing, which it
exports worldwide. |
